The Fermenting Fear

The town of Soldiers Grove is built on the ruins of an ancient city. The inn atop a shattered palace, the smithy among the crumbling remains of an aqueduct, and the bakery inside the ancient temple of a long-forgotten cult. Though it has been a thousand years since the civilization that once lived here fell, some of the townsfolk still carry on the old ways. Secretly praying to weird gods and carrying out weirder rituals in the depths of the buried city.

The Fermenting Fear is a 5th edition adventure optimized for 3rd-7th level Parties. With the baker sick and his apprentice missing, a desperate father begs our heroes to descend into the abandoned temple beneath the bakery to save his son from the horrors fermenting in the darkness.
