There are lots of types of psychic damage. The below focus on more physical aspects of psychic damage for those that want to avoid descriptions of mental anguish. If your are looking for descriptions of psychic damage that focus on those aspects, you can do so here.
Even if you only use Wizards of the Coast materials, there are A LOT of different spells in the game. I have tried to make things as generic as possible but if these just aren't working, consider asking your player to describe the effects of their spell on the target.

1 | The enemy recoils in pain as your psychic attack slams into their mind like a sledgehammer, leaving them with a throbbing migraine that feels like a thousand needles piercing their skull. |
2 | Your psychic assault leaves the enemy reeling, overwhelmed by a pain that radiates from their temples and leaves them gasping for breath. |
3 | The foe staggers backwards, clutching their head in agony as your psychic attack unleashes a storm of pain that reverberates through every fiber of their being. |
4 | Your psychic attack sends waves of sharp, stabbing pain coursing through the enemy's brain, like a thousand knives carving intricate patterns into their mind. |
5 | The enemy's eyes widen in shock and horror as your psychic attack inflicts a debilitating migraine that feels like a fiery iron brand pressed against their forehead. |
6 | Your psychic assault causes the enemy's vision to blur and their ears to ring, as the searing pain in their head threatens to overwhelm their senses. |
7 | The foe crumples to their knees, writhing in agony as your psychic attack unleashes a series of crippling headaches that threaten to leave them incapacitated and helpless. |
8 | Your psychic blow inflicts a deep, persistent ache that seems to throb and pulse with every beat of your enemy's heart, leaving them feeling as if their head might explode at any moment. |
9 | The enemy groans in pain as your psychic assault triggers a series of sharp, shooting pains that feel like a thousand needles being driven into their skull. |
10 | Your psychic attack leaves the enemy feeling as if their brain has been set on fire, a searing inferno of pain that burns with an intensity that defies description. |
