Being a GM is hard work. At the best of times, you have a million different things to keep track of.


In combat, that doubles.


It can be hard to keep track of the story, enemy tactics and abilities, and make sure your players are having fun while also using your improv skills to come up with evocative descriptions of enemies taking damage.


To help out with that, I have put together a few rollable tables of descriptions that you can easily use to make combat a little more exciting.

Ptolemy is a true believer in individualism. He always looks out for Ptolemy. He was hired by the Merchant’s Guild to build them a device capable of reanimating and controlling the dead however, due to his own arrogance and carelessness, Ptolemy’s experiments with the device went wrong causing it to destroy his hidden lab in the dam, and crash into the cranberry bogs.
